Our History
We are a family-owned business who have been in the wholesale, laser-engraving & cutting business since 2005. Prior to that time we owned a large retail shop in the beautiful town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee in the Great Smoky Mountains. We believe that the twelve years we spent buying and selling products in a fast-paced, tourist town gave us a great education and understanding of both sides of the fence...the customer's view and the seller's. We can honestly say, "been there, done that", to most of your retail shop stories. Now we're dedicated to creating products that will be profitable for both you and us.

Our Christmas ornaments make up a large part of the sales at The Southern Market. We feel one reason is that they are a momento of where they've been and also small enough to fit in their luggage. The uniqueness of our products is also one of the top selling factors. We love to create one of a kind momentos. Of course it does take all the fun out of competition from other retailers, but watching them search for your product is quite entertaining. Is there anything more aggravating than a neighboring shop carrying the same products that you do? No worries there, we take special care of our customers and their unique products.
